SOP for Handling and Maintaining First Aid Box
1.0 OBJECTIVE:
To Describe the procedure for proper handling and maintaining of First Aid Boxes.
2.0 SCOPE:
First Aid boxes located at Security Office and Quality Control Office in the factory.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
Security Officer/Security Supervisor/HR Head
4.0 PROCEDURE:
4.1 Handling
4.1.1 First Aid Boxes shall be kept at prominent places of Security Office and Q.C. Office.
4.1.2 Any first aid trained employees can provide the first aid assistance to the employees.
4.1.3 List of Trained First Aiders shall be displayed near First Aid Boxes and departments.
4.2 Maintenance:
4.2.1 First Aid Box shall contain the items as per Annexure- I. A copy of contents list to be kept inside the First Aid Box.
4.2.2 Security Officer/Security Supervisor shall review the First Aid Boxes as per the Annexure-II on every first week of the month.
4.2.3 As and when level of stock is below the minimum level the material will be procured in the stock.
