SOP for Cleaning and Sanitisation of Lockers
1.0 OBJECTIVE:
To describe the cleaning and sanitisation procedure for lockers, used by Q.C./ Warehouse employees.
2.0 SCOPE:
This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) covers the detail procedure for the cleaning and sanitisation process of locker, used by Q.C. / Warehouse employees.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
3.1 Operating Personnel.
3.2 Department Head of Q.C. / Store / H.R. for compliance of the SOP.
4.0 PROCEDURE:
4.1 Cleaning of Lockers:
4.1.1 Remove all the material from the locker.
4.1.2 Clean the locker thoroughly with dry cloth followed by cloth soaked in disinfectant solution.
4.1.3 Check and ensure that all the corners and the edges of the locker and the door are properly cleaned.
4.1.4 Dry the locker with dry clean cloth/ keep open for time to dry.
4.1.5 Place the material again in the respective locker.
4.1.6 Frequency: Fortnightly.
4.1.7 Record the details of cleaning and sanitisation in “Lockers Cleaning & Sanitisation Record” as per Annexure I.
