SOP for Cleaning Procedure of Dispensing Area
1.0 OBJECTIVE:
To describe the procedure for cleaning of Dispensing Area.
2.0 SCOPE:
This Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) covers the procedure for cleaning of Dispensing Area.
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
3.1 Store Personnel to follow the procedure
3.2 Store In-charge to ensure compliance with the procedure
4.0 PROCEDURE:
4.1 Dispensing area is cleaned during the start of the shift and product changeover
4.2 Clean the RLAF as per SOP for cleaning of RLAF.
4.3 Clean the weighing balances as per respective SOPs.
4.4 Run the vacuum cleaner over the ceiling surfaces and then on the wall for cleaning, or use a clean, dry cotton broom for cleaning.
4.5 Mop the view panel and hatch with a dry mop, mop with a wet mop, followed by a dry mop.
4.6 Mop the Stainless Steel (SS) Table, SS Stools, and pass box with h dry mop and then with h wet mop followed by y dry mop using a lint-free cloth.
4.7 Close the polythene bags of the waste bin and handle the disposable scrap material as per SOP for disposal of scrap.
4.8 Mop the waste bin with a dry mop and insert a new polythene bag.
4.9 Sanities the floor by mopping with a disinfectant solution using a lint-free cloth.
4.10 Write the cleaning status on the status board fixed outside dispensing room on the view panel.
4.11 Record the cleaning activities in the “log book for dispensing of raw materials” of the current version SOP of Dispensing procedure of raw materials.
Note: Always cleaning to be done from top to bottom, i.e., the light fixture is to be cleaned first, followed by walls and the floor.
